Lithograph, 1898, Cailler 108, edition 100. 10 1/2 x 16 1/4 in. Titled on the stone, lower left. Signed in pencil, lower right. This is a fine, luminous impression with full margins. The condition is fine apart from a few specks of printer's ink in the left margin, away from the image. This is plate number one for the Denis Amour Suite. It was published by Vollard in Paris and printed by August Clot. This series is the artist's finest published set which consisted of twelve lithographs plus a cover image.

This is a fine impression printed on china paper with wide if not full margins. This important series by Denis was published by Vollard in 1899 and printed by Auguste Clot in Paris. Color variations exist of this and other Denis images.

This lovely work is plate six from L'Amour Suite, published by Vollard and printed by Auguste Clot, Paris. Ex-collection: Henri M. Petiet (Lugt 5031).

The colors are very fresh. The condition is generally fine apart from a couple of tiny stains in the margins, remnants of old hinges and a wrinkle in the upper right corner of the margin. This print is from the celebrated "Amour" suite published by Vollard. From the collection of Henri. M. Petiet (Lugt 5031).

Lithograph printed in colors, 1899, Cailler 109, edition 100. 15 1/4 x 10 7/8 in. Signed in pencil, lower right. This is a fine impression with fresh colors. The margins are full and the condition is excellent other than for an occasional and very subtle spot of foxing in the margins. This is plate 2 from his celebrated "Amour" suite, published by Vollard and printed by Clot, Paris. This was a series of twelve prints celebrating his love for his wife, Marthe. This print is illustrated and the series is discussed on pages 110-111 of Printmaking in Paris; The Rage for Prints at the "fin de siècle" (2013) by Fleur Roos Rosa de Carvalho. Impressions are not always signed in pencil.

Signed in pencil and also inscribed "B" in the lower left. This is a fine impression printed on china paper. The margins are full and the condition is fine. (Old paper hinges remain on the right edge of the sheet in two places, verso.) This work was published by La Galerie des Peintres Graveurs, E. Frapier, 32, Rue Vitor-Massé, Paris, for "l'Album Maîtres et Petits Maîtres d'aujourd'hui." The Galerie blindstamp is in the lower right (Lugt 1057b). The edition was 100 in black and 25 in brown/bistre, as here. From the collection of: Henri M. Petiet, Paris (Lugt 5031).

Here we have one of the finest prints by the artist and a stellar French color print from the 1890s. This work is not always signed in pencil.

The condition is fine other than for a small circular stain in the extreme right margin and minor rippling to the sheet. This impression is from the collection of Henri M. Petiet (Lugt 5031). This is plate five from "L'Amour" suite which was published by Ambrose Vollard.
